You know you’ve pretty much hit rock bottom when you’re the butt of the joke at ESPN’s Page 2, where the banner quote the past couple of days has been “Where we’re disappointed the Pirates didn’t trade with us.” Yes, the Pittsburgh Pirates are the butt of many a joke, 14+ years and counting, and what did they do at the trade deadline this week? They went out and traded for a past-his-prime pitcher and his $9.5 million contract. Jayson Stark summed it up rather succinctly: “WHAT THE BX!GRZFDQ!!!!!”
And in other news, my Daniel Radcliffe blog post has been deemed the most disturbing post ever. She apparently doesn’t read the same blogs as I do, but it’s gratifying to see my efforts recognized. Thank you. Thank you very much.
While I would hardly find your Daniel Radcliffe post disturbing, I really don’t get the appeal. Not that it hasn’t been expressed by others (my husband, for instance) but I guess I like my men to be men, rather than boys.
