hot tail, but oy … the face

The current issue of AutoWeek really caught my eye because of the hot tail shown on the cover: Ferrari’s F30 Spider. Bold, sleek, charismatic, elegant … this is beautiful design. Unfortunately, this car has the face of John Kerry: long and boring. I’m not a fan of pushing the headlamps (eyes) so far back on the profile, and Ferrari seems to be taking this to a new extreme. What’s next for Ferrari — mounting the headlamps on top the dashboard?

Mmmmmmmm. Pretty. The headlights don’t bother me as much, but I am with ya that they sure don’t know when to stop. Hey, as long as I can see the whitetail deer before he bounces off my new Ferrari then I don’t care where they stick em. I could see myself getting some meaningful ministry done in a car like that.

Bracing for the weekend snow. Will we get dumped on or just a few inches? Looking forward to taking some pics of the dafodils with a coating of snow. Anyone for heading back to the Keys for another week or so?

Even though Ferraris are hot, I’m really liking the new Pontiac Solstice that’s coming out this summer.

as in all Italian design it shows the beauty in simplicity. I have a friend who collects luxe cars as such and in person it is uncommonly stunning.
