I’ve created a new category on Leather Egg for ephemeral links and called it "linkphemera." It’s a new word … go ahead and google it. I’ve long wanted to post more items of interest, but I often don’t have the time to write what I consider a proper entry. With this new category, I’ll post a link or two with a sentence or two of my comments, and that’s it. Call it an entry lite, if you will.
The two previous posts are linkphemera, and you’ll note that on the home page, they have a different look to distinguish them from regular entries — shaded background, in a box, in smaller type. Reader comments remain welcome … just click the parenthetical number immediately following the entry. The linkphemera entries will appear in the standard format on comment and archive pages but, honestly, who reads the archives (other than me, when I’m searching my backup brain).
Thanks to Matt for his help, and for pointing me in the right direction where I found this documentation on getting this to work with WordPress and the Kubrick template. And if you’re trying to get (another) Matt’s "asides" working on your WordPress/Kubrick site, follow the link above and be sure to read the 12th comment, which is a bug fix for the code in the regular post.
I like the blog-lite idea, but could you make the type just a wee bit bigger? It sucks getting old. 29 days to the Keys!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I was planning on going to the optometrist, but I bought a new vehicle instead. Toyota Highlander, very nice. Judy and I get in on the 24th, hopefully. We have to fly thru Philly. I wanted come down on the 23rd, but it $200 more per ticket to fly a day earlier. Go figure.
